ABOUT E
What does the "E" in E photography stand for? In 1997, when I officially began my career as a documentary event photographer, the E stood for me: Elizabeth. Over the years it has come to mean more: Elegant, Exquisite, Everlasting, Expressive, Enduring and Eternal are just a few words that the "E" has stood for alongside my name.
I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of couples in the Twin Cities and in the process I have helped to define wedding photography in the Midwest. As one of the longest standing documentary photography studios in town, I bring experience to your wedding day. My work has been published both locally and nationally in: The Knot, Minnesota Bride, Elegant Bride, Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, The Star Tribune and The Boston Herald. The Minnesota History Museum recently included my work in the exhibit "Tying the Knot: a History of Weddings in Minnesota."
I think beyond beautiful and unobtrusive photography, the most valuable thing I can bring to your wedding day is a warm and peaceful presence. When my clients are being themselves and feel taken care of, then I am able to capture the spirit of the day and elevate the photographic element to that of a documentary work of art, instead of a dry record of who was there and what they were wearing. Whether it rains or shines, your wedding day will be beautiful. It is my job to find and reveal that inner beauty no matter what the day gives us. |
